In June 2014 I was in the UK for fourteen days, first visiting Manchester and then London. It was my first time travelling to a city other than Asia, so supposedly everything would be completely new to me; but in a funny way, the city felt much familiar than I imagined; probably due to our previous state as a British colony. The pedestrians, the road signs and many other little things bear a striking resemblance to those in my hometown. It was exciting, exhausting, but nonetheless an unforgettable experience that I will never forget.
